Allegri Gregorio, compositore italiano (Roma 1582- 1652).
Fu allievo di Nanino dal 1600 al 1607. Nel 1629 entrò a far parte
del corpo dei cantori pontifici. Noto soprattutto per il Miserere in falso
bordone a due cori, pubblicò due libri di concertini a due, tre
o quattro voci, due libri di mottetti e una sonata per strumenti ad arco;
lasciò salmi, messe, canzoni e sinfonie strumentali che risentono
del gusto di Frescobaldi. |

He was student of Nanino from the 1600 to the 1607. In the 1629 it entered
to make part of the body of the papal singers. Famous above all for the
Miserere in false bordone to two choruses, it published two books of concertini
to two, three or four voices, two books of mottetti and one sonata for
instruments to arc; it left salmi, instrumental puttinges, songs and sinfonie
that risentono of the taste of Frescobaldi. |
